Web-based GroupWare tools
THE FOCUS of this week's column is on a few web-based groupware tools that facilitate collaborative work.
The Net has great potential for collaborative work. In fact, the success of open-source movement and the ever-growing proliferation of free software products would never have happened had the Net not been in place. There are several Net-based products that enhance/speed up your ability to share ideas and do collaborative work with other peer group members. E-mail, Instant Messenger service, web logs and news groups are some of the familiar products used for collaborative work.
