Collaborative spam control
SPAM MAIL, the junk or unsolicited mail that regularly fall into our mailboxes is a problem that afflicts most netizens. A few innovative tools/services that can be deployed to control this threat are discussed here.
Need to control spam mail
According to a story that appeared in Houston.com, http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/story.hts/tech/1516756, more than 80 per cent of the mails received by the HotMail users are spam or junk. These junk messages not only waste time and consume bandwidth, they may also result in genuine mail getting lost. For example, the mailbox, which can take only a specified number of messages, may get filled up with junk mail if you fail to clean it up regularly, resulting in legitimate mail getting bounced.
