Beware of spyware programs
A FEATURE that attracts many to the Net is the availability of a number of free programs that help them enhance their productivity in many ways. In fact some analysts view this aspect of the Net as a challenge to concepts such as 'no free lunch', which means nothing of value should be free. While there are many free services/programs available in the Net, one should be aware of the pitfalls of this facility. Some of these programs - apart from providing their publicised services - have their own 'hidden agenda' and operate in the background according to a script written to fulfil this secret agenda.
