SOME OF you may ask: "Why an article now on Newsgroups, which is an ancient Net service?" I understand from readers' letters that many of them have either no idea about Newsgroups or do not know how to access them. Newsgroups are one of the great services of the Net that has been marginalised and relegated to the background by the enormous popularity gained by the web service; there are many Netizens (especially newcomers) who have not even heard of it!
