Net commentators

THERE CAN be moments of panic when you browse the Net, especially when you ride on weak dial-up links, because of the phases of inactivity that are quite common when you are on-line. The system keeps us in the dark about what is really happening to all the information packets we send/receive to/from cyberspace. If we had a `commentator' that keeps observing the link activities and provides us with relevant information on the various Net parameters such as the current speed and the size of information received/sent from the source machine, that would make our Net life more comfortable. There are many utilities which do just that and this week NetSpeak directs the spotlight on some of them.
