Dynamic domain name service

THIS TIME NetSpeak has a look at a Net service called dynamic domain name service that enables a netizen to obtain static domain name for a Net server that is on a dynamic IP-address.

It is known that to communicate with a computer on the Net, we need to know its IP-address, which is a string of numbers. However, as it is difficult to remember the IP-addresses of Net servers, to help access Net services without any hassle, each Net server is provided with a host name that is a string of alphanumeric characters that is easy to memorise. The domain name service translates the domain name of a machine to into its IP-address. One constraint for the smooth operation of this system is that you need a fixed IP-address for your machine if it has to be accessed through the domain name system.
